We’ve had dogs most or all of our lives. In 2013 we got our first family dog Vader for our son Anthony. The next day, we took him into the vet and he reacted so badly the vet said to us in front of our 10 year old son, “He is a vicious beast. You should do the world a favor and put him to sleep.”

We were not ok with this.

We were also told he would need years of work with a behaviorist if we kept him, which was an expense we couldn’t afford. So we began working with him. Within a year he was CGC certified and attends work with us, also helps us work with reactive dogs. Vader is the reason we are in business today. We new we couldn’t be the only ones who had a story like this. So many places will turn away dogs for behavior issues, or because of size, breed or worse they feel the need to “break the dog down”.
